Frequently asked questions

How do I find the forecast and rain radar for my city?

Type the name of your city into the search box at the top of the page, or pick it from the list grouped by country. Each city page has a live rain radar, an hourly forecast, a 14-day forecast and air quality.

Which countries and cities are covered?

We currently cover 30 major cities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Ireland, and we add more in stages.

Which units are used for temperature and wind?

Each country uses the units people there expect: Fahrenheit and miles per hour in the United States, Celsius and miles per hour in the United Kingdom, and Celsius and kilometres per hour in Canada, Australia and Ireland.

How often is the weather updated?

Current temperatures and icons on this page refresh every hour, while the radar animation and city pages show the latest available data, updated every few minutes.

Where does the weather data come from?

Forecasts and temperatures come from the Open-Meteo weather service and refer to the centre of each city. They are model estimates, so they can differ slightly from readings at a local weather station.
